About Carpenter Motors

Carpenter motors was founded in August, 1987 by Todd Carpenter and Michael Carpenter, two sons of a long-time Nebraska new-car dealer, Rex Carpenter. Beginning with a tiny inventory of just 10 cars, the brothers operated out of a converted gas station, interestingly enough, directly across the street from Carpenter Motor's current facility at Cotner and "O" streets.

After the first year, Todd purchased Michael's interest in the company and has operated it since. Over the last 15 years, Carpenter Motors [CM] has been an industry leader in Nebraska, providing several "firsts" in the used car business. CM was the first to offer their customers a dedicated, full service department to maintain their investments. CM was also the first to develop and offer customers a "certified" reconditioning program, consisting of a comprehensive, written, 28 point mechanical inspection addressing all areas of concern on a used vehicle.

Due to our vastly increased customer base, we have grown over the years. Because of this, we were also the first to provide our customers with a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility to offer a sales and service experience second to none. With our 11,000 sq. ft. building and an inventory of over 110 vehicles, we are sure to have something for everyone.
